  • From Baker, California to Las Vegas, Nevada. The world's finest law enforcement officers compete for the honor of the cup!
  • Every year produces not only great runners, but great logos as well. Above are the logos for the 2012 and 2013 races.
  • Though lonely at times, the true measure of a champion is one who carries on alone for the betterment of the team.
  • Hamburg and Berlin, Germany; South Wales, UK; Queensland, Australia; RCMP and our great friends Calgary Police; Canada.
  • The long road of runners and support personnel can test anyone's confidence. Knowing they are not alone on this journey keeps one going.

Thanks for 30 great years

The photo is Larry Moore on the left and Chuck Foote on the right taken on the race course 1985. Those years have gone by very fast and there are a vast number of memories most of which have a bit of difficulty separating over the years.

What has not changed from the very beginning to today are the reasons for the event: Teamwork, Comradeship and physical exercise.

To the more than 1000 volunteers I say a big Thank You! The race could not happen without you. To the coordinators of the volunteers, I want to especially say thanks for making me and the race look so good.

This is the 10th year of Larry Moore’s passing and not a day goes by that I don’t think back to our conversation of what this race could look like. Well here we are and thousands upon thousands of Law Enforcement personnel have participated and made this a part of their life.

Make daily exercise a part of your everyday life. Don’t stop now. You will gain more than you invest.

Stay healthy,

Chuck Foote
